Of course they will...especially after Ebola takes out the cities.
Honestly, the best thing that could happen would be for Ebola to sweep through the major cities of the world and kill 2/3 of the population. This would get rid of a lot of the dead wood that has washed up on the shores of humanity over the last 100 years. The plague paved the way for the Renaissance. Perhaps the world needs another “leveling” event to remind us that there is a greater power at work in the universe and... to thin the field enough for the Good to assert itself once more.
