I would quote to Newt every night the words of Burke, “To innovate is not to reform.”
Newt thinks he has to come up with off the wall innovations and he spouts off with them. It killed him for a decade and he has only in the last few years become viable again.
That's what I like about him. It shows a creative mind. Often a real solution to tough problems is something creative and odd sounding that needs twisting and turning to work. Gingrich keeping his thought to himself until they've been fully formed into solutions could be excellent.
This morning seemed to be that....a fully formed solution.
