By the way, I think that is John B. Anderson, who ran against Reagan and Carter in 1980, who introduces Cronkite. I noticed how many times he applauded at the globalists comments.

Bonus round: The video ends with a tribute to Cronkite by Hillary - ugh.

I saw that old half baked communist at a McGovern rally. Cronkite wasn’t covering it, he was just a fanboy.

Yep ... and as you can see above and here, the grass at the grave site is nice and green meaning that the old Libtard is finally doing something good.

Thanks for the ping tang-soo.

Every time I read this, I still feel a combination of incredulity, loathing, and disgust.

I find myself wondering “What would the Founders think if they heard that speech?”

I still cannot believe this communist, statist, fraud was held in such high esteem by so many patriotic Americans who had no idea who he really was.

I can’t say I ever admired him, but he was an institution. I guess it is an example of how hard some perceptions die...I STILL, at some remote level, think this is a fraud of some kind, even when my intellect tells me it is not.

Sigh. It demonstrates the rot of liberalism.

How embarrassing it is to go among the peoples of the world, knowing what they know about our niggardliness, please get that word right if anybody quotes me, at the United Nations.

Nice.

Some of you may ask, although I think most of you know the answer, why the Senate is not ratifying these important treaties, and why the Congress is not even paying our U.N. dues? Even as with the American rejection, so many years ago now, of the League of Nations after World War I, our failure to live up to our obligations to the U.N. is led by a handful of willful senators who choose to pursue their narrow, selfish political objectives at the cost of our nation's conscience. They pander to and are supported by the Christian Coalition and the rest of the religious right wing. Their leader, Pat Robertson, has written in a book, a few years ago, that 'we should have a world government, but only when the messiah arrives.' He wrote, and literally, 'any attempt to achieve world order before that time must be the work of the devil!' Well join me. I'm glad to sit here at the right hand of Satan. (video skip) This small but well-organized group has intimidated both the Republican Party and the Clinton administration. It has attacked presidents since F.D.R. for supporting the U.N. Robertson explains that these presidents are the unwitting agents of Lucifer.

Cronkite has been attacking Christians for years now.

Cronkite opposes religious influence

He hates God, and he was given wealth, power, fame, and adulation by bowing before evil.

Psalm 5:5 - "The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity."

Thanks for posting this. It is rare to see the, “progressive” world view openly aired.

The world would be a better place if ut-Austin had fallen into a sink hole in 1950.

Roger that.

I live south of Houston, so I’m used to seeing the “keep Austin weird” bumper stickers and t shirts.

One day, in the grocery store line, I saw a guy wearing a t shirt that said “keep Austin 170 miles away”. Been looking for one ever since.

Cronkite was obviously being sardonic, taunting what he called the “Christian right”.

His name is basically a curse in German, meaning the opposite of gesundheit.

He did more to turn the American public against the Vietnam war with a raised eyebrow at certain times, than the Tet offensive.

They think they can create a peaceful world, a heaven here on earth by governance. There will not be peace on earth until GOD brings it back with him. Leftists don’t understand that because they don’t believe in GOD and heaven.
