The primary doesn’t usually matter in Texas because by the time Texans get to vote, other states have already decided who our candidate is going to be. That really pisses me off but I don’t know how we can change it.
We agree on the religion aspect. I don’t recall calling you a name. If I did I apologize.
That’s an ‘easy fix’:
1) all States vote on the same day; there’s no ‘pandering’ that can be done ahead-of-time. There’s no reason in this day and age this cannot be accomplished.
2) Rotating lots of 10 States. Still allows for pandering, but will be harder to square the msg. of NE ‘anti-gun’ and Southern ‘pro-gun’ messages/etc.
Indiana is like this as well. I had no CHANCE to vote AGAINST Romney; because he'd already out-spent the other candidates so well earlier, most had dropped out.

Many here on FR have been VERY vicious in the name calling department to us who decided NOT to vote for Romney.
