i wonder, if some foreign power walked in and said they’re taking over... and 0bama agreed... would the american left care? would the current fedgov do anything to stop it, after the foreign dictator agree to give them a juicy pension and cozy seats in a nice office in the new govt?

Many worry and wring hands about the possiblìty of martial law being implemented. I suspect that a declaration of national Sharia is more likely with the judicial appointees of the last 6 years instantly switching over and the many paynim military officers on cue deposing the non Islamic general and field officers in the military.
