I have read that younger people do not support Israel. Makes you wonder what they have been taught in school.

From 2005 onwards, Israeli Apartheid Week has hijacked (pun intended), and absolutely DOMINATED the discourse on college campuses, as well as many high schools. Most of the young people have been exposed to a steady diet of trendy Anti-Semitism and pro-Jihadi propaganda since then.

Even before ‘05, the groundwork was already laid with the ‘documentaries’ ‘Loose Change’ and ‘Zeitgeist’.

I know a couple of hardcore leftist Jews who suddenly find out that the Marxist douchebags they so admired are actually jew-hating asswipes under their berets.

They honestly were shocked to find out that international socialists despise Israel and it's people. And they feel slighted by Obama/Clinton/Kerry like their actions haven't been entirely consistent over the last decade or more.

Liberals can barely tolerate Jews and they despise Israel. You can only hit a dumb mule with a 2x4 so many times before he realizes you are not his friend - the smacks over the last few weeks finally opened some eyes.

There is much to what you said there. That's why the "badly wounded" phrase in the posting title is correct.

Many of today's US senators are older folks who are sympathetic to Israel. They understand the plight of the Jews. Eventually that will change. Then Israel will truly be on its own.
