The military knows that Obama does not want to be made to look stupid. His Rose Garden appearance with the Bergdahls and his comments have signaled what he thinks. This UCI is from the top, and the system knows this must keep Obama in the best light. Even though this is a clear case of desertion, it will be in Obama’s interest for it to be found as something lesser. We’ll see what happens.
What’s lacking in this picture is a military prosecutor, a criminal investigation, and a grand jury (Article 32) hearing. Instead we have a 15-6, and from it all of this could be swept away by a command decision to pursue non-judicial punishment.

At the very least he should spend the rest of his life in Leavenworth but due to 0bama’s “look at me” how I got this POW back fiasco he’ll not spend a day in detention in my view.
He is playing the crowd, working the room, making good use of Bergdahl, who, albeit a real POS, is an Obama kind'o'guy!
And the last couple of days he's noticed that Christians are being crucified, and beheaded by ISIS, so he sent the Navy to drop two (That's 2) 500 pound bombs on them and sent 8000 MREs (For 40 thousand people) ... and the Left is singing paeans of praise to their humanitarian saint ... just frickin' brilliant. Why he even is thinking of coming back from the Vineyard for a day or two. That's how you are supposed to know he's concerned.
