Mississippi's state Republican Party is refusing to hear challenger Chris McDaniel's effort to overturn his June 24 GOP runoff loss to U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran. The party says McDaniel would do better taking his challenge to court.

In a Wednesday letter to McDaniel's lawyer, state Republican Party Chairman Joe Nosef said a court is needed to ensure a "prudent" review of the challenge.

McDaniel should not delay. Delay will kill his effort. The closer it gets to November, the longer will be his odds.

The Barbour family says...the Barbour family wins!

That was easy. And predictable.

McDaniel should ask for a “redo” and not ask to be declared the winter.
He should ask for a new election, that is a possible goal.

Doesn’t matter if they see it or not. If it turns out a certain number of votes were fraudulent, then so it is. They can not see it until they are blue in the face, but they don’t control the law.

You’re probably right. Whatever he wants by way of relief, he cannot delay further.

And yet we see everywhere ... just hold your nose and vote GOP. And many will. It’s why we have this mess.

EXACTLY correct. The relief he sought is too extreme to win. Not a smart strategy. Wonder who gave him that advice?

The Mississippi GOP stinks worse than a Miss. catfish that has lain in the sun for a week.

Screw them.

What a waste. The dirtbag on the left has been in DC for 40+ years and watched our deficit grow to over $17 trillion. He's also done nothing to stand up to Obama's lawlessness. I listened to the head of the Mississippi democratic party a few days after the runoff. He made far more sense than any of the corrupt idiot republicans running the party in Mississippi. Thad and Haley can rot. some_text

Does McDaniel now need to wait the ten days, or does the State GOP’s decision collapse the time period?

Refusing them donations will hurt them more than not voting.
Also contacting their big donors and raising hell goes a long way.

We also need to understand that until a Conservative is elected POTUS
the Repubs will not change. They will not support (C).

No matter what happens this will do serious damage (perhaps irreparable) to the GOP.

What a tragedy. These people are scum. I think McDaniel is ready to go to court. There should be a really big stink put up.
