So, you would prefer that Winn lie about who she is and what she believes in just to beat Brownback?

Roberts really lost. He has been in Congress over 40 years and couldn't get even 50% of the primary vote. Wolf did a fantastic job of challenging him. Incumbents are usually bullet proof.

I hope Roberts packs it in after the next 6 years or earlier. It is time for some fresh blood.

No, I'd prefer a real conservative challenge Brownback and point out how they will govern more conservatively than him and have the track record to back it up.

>> This is the same GOP that has viciously attacked TEA thought. <<

I agree whole-heartily with "TEA thought" and their goals and ideas.

It's their methods and candidates that I question and believe are severely flawed. Too many clueless amateurs and insane Paultards are being touted as TEA Party saviors.

The problem is Money and the ads that the establishment and Democrats run do not have to be truthful.. You can say something long enough pretty soon it sticks whether it is truthful or not!!!

I’m voting for the Orman guy myself. Or whatever his name is.

That a lot of bunk coming from you. Liking his speeches only because he lost. I am voting for Orman or whatever his name is. I don;t mind Pat and was going to vote for him originally but not debating Wolf was a head scratcher. He acted like Dennis Moore. We have to face the facts that Kansas can be rinoish.

There are a lot of rinos in this state of Kansas. People on the left and rinos bitch about Brownback like he were Ted Cruz. Idiots. Lot of losers in America to be quiet honest. The voters deserve the bad times that re coming.

Yeah Wolf did good based on the facts at hand. Freepers hate Jerry Moran or at least think he is rinoish. Moran like Roberts might be the best we can do. I am starting to think Kansas is rinoish a bit. But I voted Moran because he was conservative. However, I would be willing to give a challenger a chance to make a case in 2016.

Also, would Roberts have done the same for Wolf?

Agree. We got the best of both worlds here. Roberts beat a guy that has no track record but it was close enough that other incumbents who might be wishy washy will get a message.

Yeah you are spot on. State after state and primary after primary I am seeing that the GOP E is the biggest problem and the biggest threat to challenging and taking on Obama and his minions. At every turn they cave. They are a bunch of cowards.

That is true. Too many Libertarians and people who are more in line with Romney than Cruz have infected the Tea Party.

Yeah I agree with this statement. Wolf gave it a good try, but because he so far behind at the start it was a hard bump to make it up.

State Rep. Tom McMillan, a disappointing run in CD-8

All incumbents won here in Kansas. So things will be go on and be like they were yesterday basically.

A good challenger is never a bad thing. I was with Pat till this past month. I feel I can vote for Orman and Roberts will win without me anyways. It’s my protest against the system vote.

Too bad then about Bentivolio. I never heard much about the race down here in Kansas. At least Kansas kept its conservative incumbents like Tim Huelskamp. Dr. Milton Wolf was a long shot because of not having a track record and most of the western side of Kansas not knowing him. If it had been someone with a track record like Kobach that might have helped but there is a Pat Robert’s cheerleading crowd who support him no matter what.
