Very comforting to a city of millions..tightly packed in close proximity to one another....what could go wrong?

It will take 1-2 days for the results to come back. Evidently, there have been six (or so) cases recently where an individual has returned here from an Ebola-stricken West African country with symptoms consistent with Ebola, but none of them had Ebola. “

Considering that False Negatives seems common, do we know about these ‘none who had Ebola’ : were they tested a second time for Ebola, and was what they did actually have confirmed ?

"An Ebola vaccine “would be very helpful,” he said, but it won’t exist anytime soon. Still, he added, health workers can find and isolate patients, trace the contacts they’ve made and encourage safe burial practices for those who fall ill."

Can we believe anything told us by the government without independent verification? Would they suppress any report of Ebola loose in the population, if they could? For that matter, how many disease reports from the illegal alien processing facilities are already being suppressed so they can transport the vectors all over the US?

What ever happened to the rapid response tests they’re using in W. Africa?

Crap, there is no need to have any tests because it's "unlikely" that the man may have Ebola. It would have been nice if they gave us facts why the city's health department deems it "unlikely".

Who needs facts when there is consensus among pundits?

Of course - to prevent panic.

If I had to guess, I would say those tests are not readily available in the US because we don’t have Ebola outbreaks. It’s a good question.
