Nope, the Labradoodle (abomination!) is much smaller and has a "lion" cut.

This critter has no mane, doesn't have a dog-like head, and no dog walks like that.

It's some kind of a large feline, and it does look rather like a lioness.

"those 'wild animals' could be human"

Well, it IS California, after all...

Terriers do not have tails like that.

The lazy man says, “There is a lion in the road! A fierce lion is in the streets!”

~Proverbs 26:13 NKJV

I’d be saying that too, LOL!

Terrapoodle? They are deadlier than lions.

See #27. If there’s really a lion, it ain’t being lazy. :-)

It beats “Keep in mind, I AM in the smaller office!”

In the side-by-side comparison I posted above the pic of the animal in Calf isn't the best still from the video. In other frames the head really does resemble that of a female African lion.

That dog has the same hairdo as Ronnie Wood (of the Rolling Stones) and Rod Stewart.

Lioness? Doesn’t look like a mountain lion, too “chunky”, wrong gait & tail IMO. It’s California so I’d guess it’s a “pet”.

Almost certainly a female African lion. I feel sorry for anything in it’s way when it starts to get hungry. Pets, homeless people...

This isn’t the first time “African” lions have been spotted in California, one was even shot and killed in the 1870s and many more have been spotted across America since Colonial times. The “escaped lion” from a zoo or circus comments made by “experts” over the years has proven to be nonsense. Some think they may be remnant American Lions left over from the Ice Age which ended 10,000 years ago.

That doesn't look like any dog. It moves like a cat. Someone needs to get some tracks from it as it moves across the neighborhood. If there are no claw marks associated with the tracks then no dog. If it is a large cat then there should be an uptick in the missing pets in the area.
