We have a new unwritten constitution (kind of like the British one in that regard). It protects the two most sacred human rights: sodomy and child-murder. All other rights are simply privileges that must give way if they interfere with the two biggies.
And yet leftists accuse us of imposing our morality on everyone else simply because we believe in allowing the members of a society to establish via either direct or representative democracy the moral code for that society.
