Matt Damon is selling his Miami Beach property for $18.9 million. Take a look at 'Maravilla', courtesy of The Jills from Coldwell Banker.
12,705-square-foot home in Miami Beach, replete with pools, palms, and plenty of privacy.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the actor created the property by combining two parcels he bought in 2005, paying about $14.5 million for both.
The home is located on the same glitzy street where Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, and Calvin Klein are said to have lived.

Not so much a leaner, more of a wallower I'd say.

We only hear of one at a time, but gobs of celebrities are dumping their multi-million dollar mansions and estates on the market even as we type.
These lefty high-earners (or their financial gurus) are smart enough to know that they better cash in on some of their pricey, expensive-to-maintain, high-tax-located real estate before their Matinee-Idol-in-Chief brings the nation's economy to its knees.....and property values tank even more than they're tanking now.
Damon is just being smart.

He can list it at $18.9 MM...but what he actually gets for it may be something else entirely.
I would suspect that he'll take less in order to move it.

Maybe Chelsea Clinton-Mezvinsky would be interested in picking it up for a winter retreat?

No, he bought at $15MM and is asking $19MM. I don’t know what he has into the property, but he’s owned it since 2005.

12,705-square-foot home in Miami Beach Well that there's the problem, it's just not big enough to fit his big fat egotistical, self righteous head into anymore.

The views were nice, but the place had a cold, unfriendly look to it.
I really was not impressed.

At best he’s breaking even. I suspect he’s losing money on the deal.
A 12,705 square foot home would be about $250-300/SF which is $3.2 to $3.8 million build out. It was Miami in 2005 when he bought two parcels for $14.5 mil and combined. them. He’s into the place for about $18 million, maybe more. Remember too, he’s been paying $155K/year in property taxes.
His closing will cost him money as well.

He is a lib, but the Bourne movies and especially “Good Will Hunting” are good movies.
