Perhaps a coup has been averted...

No. The coup has already occurred. Obama is an illegal alien Usurper. He continues to demonstrate that he is an enemy of the United States by his every action under color of the Presidency. Many more instances will occur.

It's that simple.

Beat me to it.

At this point the coup is a fait accompli.

Yes, the anti-constitutional coup has already taken place.

At this point, I have no idea how the Supreme Court would interpret Barack Hussein Obama's citizenship, if any. So to me, the coup consists of them not having ruled on the many cases of varying quality that have come before them.

By ducking the issue, they have caused a constitutional crisis. But wait, there's more:

Frankly, right now, I have no idea what a citizen is or isn't.
Am I a citizen because I am the offspring of two American Citizen, born in the USA? Or am I a citizen because I have a driver's license issued by a sovereign state? Beats me, and it really shouldn't.
How can the offspring of any alien, never mind an illegal alien, be a citizen of this country?
Is Canadian-born Ted Cruz a Natural Born Citizen, simply by virtue of having an American Mother?
Is Bobby Jindal a Natural Born Citizen by virtue of birth in the US of one naturalized parent and one alien parent?
Is Marco Rubio a Natural Born Citizen, even though neither of his parents is, or was an American citizen at the time of his birth?

Right now, it seems to me that citizenship (who is, who ain't, and what kind) is open to a variety of interpretations based on regulations and bureaucratic practices more than law. Now that ain't right. What I, or anyone else "believes," or "feels," is neither here nor there. Do we have laws, or not?
