All I am saying at this point is that I’m going to do a lot more homework before I jump either way.Doing the right thing standing tall is always a great thing. But I think I like winning even more.
My guess is the hard left had a lot of what is coming at us planned over along period time. I want o see if our side can do the same thing. I can’t take another obama/hillary whatever hard left regime again.

As I posted lass week, the Rehnquist book on impeachments is rally interesting. It covers Chase, Supreme Court Justice, and President Johnson but it also covers the other 18 major impeachments in the country. Each successful removal was related to personal corruption, not what they did in office. It does not cover Clinton because the book came out prior to that impeachment. (It was timely at the time which is why I bought the paperback book. It’s a lot cheaper today on Amazon.)

We may not like it but it seems that if there’s any way to justify a politicians behavior as his right since he was elected is not reason to remove him.

One interesting impeachment is Hastings. Impeached as a judge for criminal activity he went on to become a US Representative from FL.

Lot’s of those minority numbers were thanks to 110% turnouts.

Aformentioned.

Thanks Dan, if you read my manual or book you will see how this all works together. At some point the white gloves have to come off and replaced with bare knuckles.

I think I have written out pretty clear what I suggest. Your cheap snarky comment duly noted.

“I think I have written out pretty clear what I suggest.”

I’m a pretty sharp guy and yet I asked tht question.

That should tell you something about your “clarity”.

“Your cheap snarky comment duly noted”

Note it all you want to. Please. I didn’t realize that asking a letigimate question was “snarky”.

Your reaction combined with your attacks on anyone that disagrees with you highlights clearly your only solution is to crap on everyone elses idea.

Or subtly suggest we need a revolution.

Either way your “solution” is about as clear as mud.

“Well bray since what everyone esle is doing doen’t meet your standard...what’s the solution since you seem to have all the answers.”

Sorry, I forgot what a jerk you are.
Let me type slow so you can understand. I would continue the investigation with the clear understanding that if the President appears guilty of using an agency against tax paying Americans, then impeachment is a real possibility.

Right now, what threat does any of these scandals have knowing he will pardon every one of them on his way out the door. Why should they cooperate since there is no punishment in the end.

Is that clear enough or do you need a twenty page manual? I have one of those available which explains why. I will be happy to send it to you. Is that clear enough?

“As far as the GOP tying hands,Chris McDaniel in Mississippi is proving right now that we still have astounding patriots out there who are willing to do it all to win righteous fights.”

And he’s doing it all without a modicum of support from the RNC.

It’s another example of good intentions going wrong with unexpected results.

Our side continually fails to consider ramifications nor the results of how people will abuse the law passed.

The Democrats are better than Republicans when it comes to abusing laws or interpreting them in ways never intended to get around them or use them politically.

Anyone who disagrees with bray = “jerk”

“I would continue the investigation with the clear understanding that if the President appears guilty of using an agency against tax paying Americans, then impeachment is a real possibility.”

Let me write this in crayon so YOU understand. The GOP leadership has effectively taken impeachment off the table. They don’t have the will/balls/etc to do it. It’s NOT a real possibility unless every establishment Repu lican is tossed out in the mid terms in the House AND Senate.

“Why should they cooperate since there is no punishment in the end.”

Because they’d rather go along to get along instead of lead.

“Is that clear enough or do you need a twenty page manual? I have one of those available which explains why. I will be happy to send it to you. Is that clear enough?”

Yes it’s quite clear you aren’t dealing with the reality of the situation.

Now run along and go play in traffic.

Romney lost because the Repubs never turned out. This election and his was not won in the middle, it was lost on the Right. He gave nobody a reason to vote for him and had a horrible GOTV plan. The dirty little secret is, the middle actually likes leaders and the sweet spot for voters is 10% to the right.

I don't buy that theory. Romney received one million more votes than McCain did in 2008. Obama received 3.5 million votes less than 2008, but he still won by 5 million votes. Romney's vote total was about a million less than Bush's 2004 all-time high of 62 million. Romney received the second highest vote total of any Rep in history.

The fact is that Rep voters are older and dying off. Obama did the best with younger voters,

Lot’s of those minority numbers were thanks to 110% turnouts. You get your Repubs to vote and voter fraud doesn’t work.

There was no doubt voter fraud, but what states did Romney lose due to voter fraud? There really weren't that many close states. Romney barely won NC, which has now become a purple state.

Here in VA, we increased GOP turnout by 100,000 over 2008 to its highest level ever and still lost by 150,000 votes. VA is now a blue state when it comes to statewide elections. The changing demography of the state has changed it.

“The Democrats are better than Republicans when it comes to abusing laws or interpreting them in ways never intended to get around them or use them politically.”

The GOP plays by a different set of rules than the DNC.

Their first and only rule is...there are no rules.

And they continue to kick our ass while we shout “that’s not fair”.

Thanks for the link, kabar, it’s a good read and I agree with it. Maybe that’s why I liked it.

It seems to me the only thing the GOP will be able to do if the Senate changes to Republican control with this years election, is spending restrictions. Cutting the money is the only remedy I know of constitutionally that can be used next year to stop 0.

Impeachment would but the GOP cannot do it unless there are Democrats on board and the media agrees.

You can also check out the exit polls for Ohio and any other state

Thanks, these are very good sources. I also read somewhere that Romey had fewer people voting for him in 2012 then in 2008.
The issue I see is that "Republican" does not stand for much and thus does not give people a reason to vote. We shall see next week how the Mississippi fiasco will impact the Tennessee primary

What worries me is that the GOP won’t cut money or reign in spending.

And I say that because they didn’t do it when they controlled both Houses last time.

It’s gonna take more than just one election to change the climate inside the beltway.

One good argument against single payer is our very own VA system that’s in disgrace and turmoil.

Believe me he does have a lot of them.I just read his 27 page thesis on grass roots campaigning and for local elections this is nothing short of sensational.
It’s giving me idea for a national election as well.
Gary this was truly brilliant.
FR mail coming your way.

YOU need to read his 27 page manual its brilliant. It’s key is to get all the pubbies out and he is doing it with really high high numbers.Numbers so good its hard to lose. After that he goes after indys totally ingnoring the dems which in itself is a brilliant strategy.
I don’t know if it will work state wide.It would take bigger organzation but it should.

In many cases they are too lazy to even vote.

Low Voter Turnout in Primaries Has Dems Especially Worried

While it directly talks about democrats, the overall numbers are atrocious. Read on...

The Center for the Study of the American Electorate released a report last week showing turnout in the 25 states that have already held statewide primaries dropped 3.5 percent from 2010 to 14.8 percent of the voting-age population. Turnout in 15 of those states hit record lows.

As I said on that thread:

This is very frustrating to me! So many here talk about defeating RINOs in the primary, and a TEA candidate runs against them (or several, which is a problem) and THEN nobody turns out to vote for them, and the RINO, admittedly with far more money and name recognition, easily wins.

You could say the RINOs are dastardly (I’d agree), pulling out all stops to even get democrats to vote for them, but none of this would matter if only enough conservatives actually voted.

When I was in the military (22 years) and overseas, I could not vote. For about an 8 year period I had every one of my absentee ballots invalidated or wanting more information AFTER the election was over (Florida). This was so frustrating, that I vowed that when I returned stateside I would NEVER miss another election, even if it was for dogcatcher.

And I haven’t. It is not that difficult to vote, even if you’re as busy as a cat in a roomful of rocking chairs, to vote in any and all elections.

There simply is no excuse for a primary seeing a 14% turnout. At least for conservatives who see their country being destroyed and the cultural Left taking over. So many advocate opening the ammo box, when they didn’t even use the ballot box. Disgusting!

Also, one more thing. This is a quote from the Leftist run Politifact website:

Gallup poll: For 2011, Gallup found that the largest group of Americans identify as conservative, at 40 percent. Another 35 percent identify as moderate, while 21 percent identify as liberal. That trend has fluctuated a bit over the years, with moderates sometimes slightly outnumbering liberals.

I honestly think conservative numbers are higher. The article goes on to quote the Battleground Poll, run by Republican Ed Goeas and democrat Celinda Lake, who do not allow respondents to choose Moderate, find that 60 percent of the American people are conservative. Quote:

Pollster Ed Goeas said those results have been fairly consistent since 1991. "I've never seen ‘conservative’ below 57 percent," he said. "‘Liberal’ has always been in the 33, 34 percent range. ... I don't think I've ever seen it more than 38 percent."

So my question is with so many professing to be conservative, and Obama destroying our country and trampling conservatism, while Boehner and the RINOs go along to get along, flooding the country with illegals to be able to successfully mine their votes for decades as democrats, with our troops abandoned in Benghazi while Obama goes fundraising, while or veterans seeking medical care are ignored and die, while government tax revenuers use IRS agents against us, with all of these things and so much more...HOW is it possible that the average primary percentage is at 14%???? We're doing something wrong.
