Tartars were the people of Crimea till Stalin decided they were collaborating with the Germans and then the ethnic cleansing started and the forced migration. They came back to Crimea after the Soviet Union collapsed. They are Muslim and they hate Russians.
The Russians have invaded Crimea well before Stalin.
The Tatars and Greeks hated Communism and the Russian policy of relocating Military retires etc.. to Crimea to do ethnic cleansing.
Stalin was Hitler's Ally against the West until Hitler knew better than to trust
a Russian Communist Dictator.
