They have toll booths? We have electronic tolling in West Central FL. It’s either an electronic sticker connecting to your bank account or they bill by license plate. No booths and no slowing down.
Of course they don’t lower the rates.
What is done for tourists from out of state?

Toll takers have the worst job in the world. It’s no use to be courteous to them, so many more people are nasty, it turns many of them nasty, so they don’t reply when you try to be sociable, it’s just a 6 second interaction, they take the money all day like they’re machines.
