What jury was this ..rejects not smart enough to be on OJ jury?
I don’t think this is over.
Ventura maybe a moron but stupid enough to walk into a bar and insult a bunch of upset drunk navy seals and say that?
That’s a suicide mission.
This "win" proves he's a loser and I bet the vast majority still believe Kyle's story.
Way to go there, Jesse. You couldn't pay me enough to do that to myself, at the expense of a widow and her children, and all for my reputation???
To paraphrase G. B. Shaw, we already knew what you are, Jesse, now we know your price.
That ****** was never a SEAL.
We found out what is the price of Ventura’s self respect.
The worst thing for him is to be a “pariah in the brotherhood and current and former SEALS.”
He should be shunned.
This will no doubt go to appeal.

Over at the Sarah Palin Channel, Governor Palin thankfully gives an effective smack-down to the often-bloviating Jesse Ventura over his lawsuit involving Chris Kyles family.
Hey tough guy, Jesse Ventura, your feelings were hurt because you perceived your reputation was besmirched by words in a book? So you turn around and sue, expecting $2 million from a military widow and her fatherless children? Yeah, like that is going to help your reputation, jackass.
Chris Kyle was a true American patriot the soldier who stood up for his country and saved so many lives by doing the job his Commander-in-chief gave him, taking out the bad guys. For his extraordinary work, Chris was known as "The American Sniper." He was senselessly murdered on our own soil while helping a military brother. His widow and young children will forever feel a lot more "hurt" than you will, Jesse, after a sad verdict in your ridiculous lawsuit against Chris.
You can watch the video and join in on the discussion here.
Minnesota voters not only elected Ventura as their governor, but also elected Hollywood clown Al Franken as their Senator so there would be no shortage of nitwits to be jurors.
I would like to point out that both of these events occured in a state that also chose Al Franken as a senator.
If what he really wanted is to clear his name, that would add significant weight to the idea that his reputation was the issue, and not the money.
Ventura is not going to give up a single penny of that money. He wants it all.
I hope this shuts up all the freepers who were on here the other day spouting that it was OK because the insurance company would pay the award and Kris Kyles’ widow would not be harmed. Wrong!
There’s pond scum and then there’s Ventura.
I’m beginning to think that there is a special place in Hell for those who sit on a jury and award huge damages to not so innocent “victims”. Enough is enough already! If Ventura had ANY decency, he’d have dropped the charges, especially since Kyle was not able to defend his own remarks. The JUDGE should’ve thrown this one out, but methinks that these judges are in it with the jurors to make havoc of the judicial system and destroy America. That may seem brazen, but what else can one attribute it to? A real man would’ve either dropped the case or asked for no monetary compensation. What exactly did Ventura lose as a result of Kyle’s claim? REALLY. And he’d take the food out of the mouths of Kyle’s children? This is a real man? I could call him a couple other things if I was a foul-mouthed ranter, but I’ll have to stick to “fool” right now.
Another OJ jury. Don’t know how you can say the book slandered JV when it didn’t name him and JV says that he wasn’t punched. If I was the judge, I’d move heaven and earth to nullify this garbage verdict.
And a victory here restores your reputation, Jesse? Congratulations, you’re now as popular as Taylor Chapman.
