There is a town near me that was overrun by illegal aliens. The legal residents voted to require proof of citizenship in order to sign a residential lease or rental agreement. The illegals revolted and threatened the mayor and even spray painted his house with obscenities one evening.

Then a body showed up in a ditch. The police could not identify the person because he was an illegal alien with no documentation. Then a second body was found. Same thing. Then a third.

The law is still on the books and the town is now quiet and peaceful.
