Another epic motion picture along the lines of Superfly, Shaft and Blackula.
He is a political idiot, but I have to say that I was completely amazed by his brilliant portrayal of Ray Charles in “Ray.”
I’m no fan of Jamie Foxx, but his portrail of a homless man with schizophrenia in The Soloist was excellent.
If Jamie Foxx is starring in it, the theme of the movie will be that it was white racism that turned Tyson into a mindless thug. This may turn out to be Foxx’s best performance since he played the role of the great Tookie Williams. Maybe “The Rodney King Story” will be next.

Really? I saw him tear people apart as a kid. As he got older, and Cus died, he fell apart.
He was the last boxer that I ever rearranged my schedule to watch.
Of course, if you are a traditional “boxing” fan, I can appreciate your comment as he was truly a brawler, not a “boxer.”
But you have to admit that he just tore his opponents apart when he was a kid.
Mike Tyson is a hell of a lot more interesting than Jamie Foxx. He’s learned a lot of life’s lessons the hard way. He should play himself.
Agreed. Cus was the only father figure in Mike’s life, and when he died, it was all downhill from there.
