There will be no fence sitters. The division between good and evil is intensifying. Satan’s servants are being unmasked.
Joe Scarborough is, to quote Lois Lerner, an “asshole.”
1. Israel is not indiscriminantly killing anyone - AND SCARBOROUGH KNOWS THIS! The IDF is giving warnings of scheduled air raids - at great risk to their pilots - in order to avoid civilian casualties ON THE PALESTINIAN SIDE. They drop leaflets, make phone calls, send texts, etc. Hamas, OTOH, tells its people to pay no attention to those warnings, and has in many cases locked people in buildings known to be upcoming targets because Hamas doesn’t merely not care about its own people, it actively WANTS casualties. They and other Palestinian terrorist groups have perfected the art of doing this (and, in many cases, creating false injuries, etc.) and thereby of fooling idiots like Scarborough who simply can’t (or won’t) look beyond the headlines.
2. Like any nation, Israel has the right to defend itself and its citizens. Since Hamas started this conflict by INDISCRIMINANTLY shooting several hundred explosives-laden rockets at civilian Israeli targets (which number is now over 2,000), then the legal AND MORAL culpability for the Palestinian civilian deaths is on Hamas ALONE.
3. Hamas has also - as is well-known throughout the world and certainly to someone like Scarborough - purposely stored weapons in homes, schools, hospitals and mosques. This is in an effort to PURPOSELY cause civilian casualties among their own people when, inevitably, Israel responds to Hamas’ attacks. Hamas and these other groups count on the stupidity - or the willful ignorance - of morons like Scarborough to win their fight for them in the media. IOW, Scarborough is a willing tool of Hamas.
4. Hamas has used literally millions of tons of concrete and steel to construct tunnels that have been and were to be used for the mass killing and/or mass kidnapping of innocent Israelis. This, rather than building more hospitals, schools, roads, hotels, etc. to benefit their people. Hamas used CHILDREN to build those tunnels, and some 160 of them died in the effort (so far). WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE OVER THAT GOAL OR THE USE OF CHILDREN IN DANGEROUS WORK AIMED AT FURTHERING A MURDEROUS INTENT?
5. Some 250,000 Arabs/Moslems have been killed or outright murdered in Syria during its ongoing civil war, way more than 100 times the number of Palestinians killed in this conflict with Israel (and lots of them are actual fighters/terrorists who purposely put themselves in harms way, IOW NOT women and children). WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE OVER ALL OF THOSE DEATHS?
6. War is not antiseptic like an operating room or some theoretical paper, it is a messy, dangerous and very imprecise set of events. When one party starts a war, they are signing on for the moral blame for the inevitable results, even if they didn’t commit them - simply because said results are a natural consequence of starting a war. In this case, Scarborough has completely jumped the shark - he is no ill-informed idiot, he is a very well informed person who has purposely chosen to attack the victim. Where is his outrage for Hamas and what it started? Where is his outrage for Hamas’ tactics, strategy and overall objectives in its conflict with Israel (i.e. destruction of the sovereign state of Israel and the mass murder or deportation of its entire Jewish population)???? The world awaits the answer from Scarborough himself, but I don’t expect one - and the silence will be deafening.
Simply put, Scarborough is at best a willing tool of Hamas because it will garner him publicity, and at worst is an anti-Semite hiding behind his supposed “neutral reporter” persona while he does his level best to help defeat Israel. IOW, Scarborough is pond scum.
