This from an Israeli scource Putin Backs Israel's Security Needs in Middle East
A pact was forged between Moscow and Jerusalem to ensure Israel's security during a private meeting last month, according to a Friday Maariv report.

The report claims that a 90-minute conversation took place between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian President Vladimir Putin during Netanyahu's last-minute attempt to prevent an interim nuclear deal between Western powers and Iran.

Actually Russia and Israel have very good relations.

Russia is more than willing to publicly denounce Israel to get Arab support, but if you notice they support Israel and have stopped weapon sales to Iran based solely off Israel requesting they don't do it.

Keep in mind lots of Israelis are of Russian decent. They have good trade relations. Also Israel didn't condemn Israel for the Crimea invasion, and Israel is not selling its gas from the giant gas field they found because it would hurt Russia.

Putin supposedly respects Israel a lot, but then Putin understands people who have balls, and today the only world leader with a bigger pair than Putin, is Benjamin Netanyahu.

Interesting stuff, again pointing out how Putin speaks out of both sides of his mouth.

Less than a month after assuring the Israelis, he is in Iran reaffirming his support for Iran’s nuclear program, which neither you or I are naive enough to believe it is for peaceful purposes.
