This is Inexcusable (House leadership chicanery)
redstate.com ^ | 7/31/14 | Erick Erickson

Posted on 07/31/2014 5:21:38 AM PDT by cotton1706

House Republican Leaders have a deal for conservatives. After giving Barack Obama a blank check with the debt ceiling, if they will now give him $659 million then and only then will John Boehner give conservatives a vote on shutting down DACA.

This really is inexcusable. DACA is the chief incentive inspiring people to cross the border. The administration intends to expand DACA.

The House GOP should be starting with closing DACA, not telling conservatives they first have to fund the President and then they’ll get table scraps.

I have opened RedState’s Action Center. Go here now, put in your zipcode, and we will connect you with your congressman. Tell him the House GOP must close DACA as part of their legislation, not as a separate vote after funding Barack Obama.

This should be the stance adopted by every GOP pol.

"First we build this fence all the way across, and then we'll discuss the rest."

Any GOP presidential candidate who comes out in favor of extending the San Diego Fence all the way to the Gulf of Mexico in one year, will win in a landslide.

If you are going to use made up DC code words out of first letters, then have the courtesy to the low information voter to define what each letter stands for.

If they would only treat the opposition like this we’d have an actual representative in Congress!

Everything this administration does it inexcusable. What are we going to do about it? Don’t you think it’s time we move out of our comfort zone to set things aright?

I assume you’re addressing Erick Erickson who wrote the piece, but your point is well taken.

DACA stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.

Those in DC love their acronyms.

Haven’t you heard here on FR that building a fence/wall/barrier is physically and practically impossible? Especially in Texas. Heck, landing men on the moon or digging out the Panama Canal was child’s play in comparison.

” - - - extending the San Diego Fence all the way to the Gulf of Mexico in one year, - - - “

Don’t be stupid! That would be a 2,000 + mile long fence for the invaders to climb over to get our free Welfare.

The magnet to the Invaders is our Free Welfare, repeal any kind of assistance to Illegal Alien Invaders coming in from Mexico, and join the rest of the World that has sense enough to repel all Invaders!

The San Diego fence actually works. Did you note the BP vehicle in the patrolled middle road?

Question, do you just leave your car and house doors open and unlocked when you are gone, because some slick high-end thieves might tunnel in or hack your alarm systems anyway?

Or do you lock your doors and windows?

Yeah, I assume that all of those “fences are futile” Einsteins leave their doors and windows wide open, because “Oceans 11” level thieves could tunnel in anyway.

Israel will probably just remove their security fences now, because they found tunnels. Ditto the fence around the White House.

E. E. is a head case of his own making.

What he writes is his own business.

If YOU use Code Words from E. E. with no explanation to crack his code, then the low information voter will stay a low information voter, which never has seemed to bother E. E., or other members of the Democrat Brotherhood Government in DC, (DBGDC).

We are paying for a toll-free number to the Capitol Switchboard to make it as easy as possible for all of you. Here it is: NUMBERS USA

Call toll-free: 1-855-827-2353

Even though most Democrats in the House are currently supporting any kind of amnesty they can get, Democrats as well as Republicans need to be called today. It is important for Democrats — three months before elections — to hear just how unpopular these amnesties are. More than anybody else in Congress in recent years, Sen. Sessions has stood up for immigration policies in the interest of American wage-earners and their families. We definitely owe it to him — and to our national community — to respond with a phone call to our U.S. Representative today.....

...Make one or more of the following points to the congressional staffer who answers the phone:

1. You object to Pres. Obama by himself giving another mass amnesty to illegal aliens. The news media are reporting that he plans to do it soon, and you are outraged.

2. Congress should not give the President any of the money he wants for the Border Surge unless the bill prohibits the President from issuing any more work permits to illegal aliens without congressional approval. Ask if the Representative will promise to insist on that.

3. Tell them you support H.R.5160 by Rep. Blackburn that blocks any more go-it-alone amnesties by a President.

We could’ve built several Israel-style fences, along the Texas border, since 2004....with the time and $$ we’ve already expended (toward “securing the border funding”, importing, transporting, housing, entitling - and even prosecuting some - illegals).

We always hear that it’s impossible because....border is too long, border runs through the middle of the river, ranchers won’t want to give up land for fences, etc., etc.

Building a super-dooper Border Fence is analogous to putting the best topical antiseptic band-aid known to Mankind on a late-term Ebola victim.

Fence...We don’t need no Stinkin Fence...

$7,000 per month our Goobermunt will pay to keep an illegal...

12 months X $7,000 =$84,000 deduction to any “Aid” to Mexico

for each illegal they let cross THEIR border(cut off ALL aid until our Marine is released) PERIOD

We NEED a President not a back-stabbing Commie Mooslime.

Wow, did you spend a long time coming up with that analogy?

Still wondering, do you leave your doors and windows open when you’re gone, since sophisticated thieves could tunnel in anyway?
