isn’t it amazing that Africans that come to this country are so well spoken, well educated?.....having to learn a new language and live in a different culture yet they do it and are successful......
Indeed. I know someone who was born in the DRC (Congo) into some of the worst conditions possible, yet managed to get out of there and attend university, eventually earning a PhD.
If he could do that from a beginning of abject poverty, surely Americans born in slums—which provide far better living conditions than African villages—could do a lot better.
