This gets to the heart of it. Sadly, children do not matter anymore. Only the will (whim, really) of adults is of importance when the elites dish out “rights.”
I agree with the basic argument, but am disappointed that the author did not mention the three great child abusers in the heterosexual world: abortions, unwed motherhood (unwed copulation, actually) and divorce. There was an opportunity for a clear statement about child abuse and those who are guilty of it.
In none of this situations is the child consulted, and in all of these cases it is the children who are most profoundly affected.
