I'm originally from KY - the northern part by Cincinnati. I was recently home, and no one likes McConnell - my dad can't stand him. But one person that is despised even more than McConnell is Obama.
McConnell will be able to spread the 'a vote for Grimes, is a vote for Obama' message, and people will vote for the lesser of 2 evils, and vote for McConnell. In the end, this race is not going to be even close.

I think that Lamar Alexander is under 50% polling the the Primary.

This article says that Thad Cochran is also under 50% in Mississippi. See my Post #60 regarding that situation in MS.
