Part of the damn thing sets quotas for importing refugees.
Parts of it are utterly unenforceable such as “the parent has submitted to a mandatory biometric criminal history check;” because most of them have already been released to whomever and are now GONE.
It appears that this is a setup for long term direct importation of illegal aliens.
‘‘(ii) MONITORING.—If an unaccompanied alien child described in clause (i) is between 15 and 18 years of age and the Secretary of Health and Human Services determines that such child is not a danger to self, a danger to the community, or a risk of flight, the child shall ‘‘(I) enroll in the alternative to detention program of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement; and ‘‘(II) continuously wear an electronic ankle monitor while his or her immigration case is pending.”
They are not showing up now to the tune of > 80% so just how long will that “electronic ankle monitor” last?
“(d) FAILURE TO APPEAR.—The Director of the Executive Office for Immigration Review shall track the number of unaccompanied alien children who fail to appear at a removal hearing (>80%) that they were required to attend; and make the information described in paragraph available to the public on a quarterly basis. “
They already know these numbers.
It is over 80%.
This entire “Act” is a scam to MANDATE importing illegal aliens directly from the south.
They will start with 15,000.
Next year? The year after that, how many?
The “Act” only states the amount for 2014 to 2015.
