Obama had attended a Unitarian church in Honolulu as a child. The church was one of the main supporters of military deserters who fled to Canada.
His mother steeped him in radical thinking; one of his mentors was Frank Marshall Davis, a communist who was on the FBI's "watch list".
I don't think it all started at Columbia.
Yeah, right.
Choomin' in the apartment, more likely, and perhaps being "unknown", he was able to pull a Kennedy and pay people to take his exams without being caught.
I agree. Obama also developed his obsessions with the third world (and the anti-colonialism that explains almost all his foreign policy), from his “dreams” of his Marxist father, and his childhood experience in Indonesia. From what is known of his college studies, Obama did not explore diverse ideas. He “gravitated towards the Marxists professors”, and fleshed out what he already “knew”. As a narcissist, he always thinks in terms of himself, and his pronouncements reveal a very narrow, non-American perspective, that is impervious to learning anything new. From his words and actions, could anyone imagine that he sees his job as promoting the interests of the United States?
