Actually Clinton hosed Gore when Clinton could have/should have pulled a Nixon in order to position Gore as the incumbent. I know, it didn’t help Jerry Ford win in 1976 but he was as well-positioned politically as he could have been.

You forgot it would make us lose the Senate.

What makes you think we will win it in any case? I seem to recall we were going to win it all in 2012.

I think it's laughable that the GOP is moving to impeach Obama on the basis that Obama is going to swing the doors wide open on the southern border. Neither party has the moral high ground on border enforcement. The GOP has been pushing for amnesty for illegals for years, which is essentially what Obama's attempting to do.

Law abiding citizens get groped and grabbed by convicted sex offenders parading around in TSA uniforms at the airports because we happen to be hiding terrorists in our underwear. While illegals from Central and South America get soccer balls, teddy bears and American citizenship and jobs and the right to vote and the promise nobody will know where they're at, if they can cross the Rio Grande.

Washington has gone completely insane.

Some here will remember this example of how Medved operates.

A caller would ask, “why did you never serve in the military Mike, if you are so.....”

Medved wouldn’t answer, first, he would say, I didn’t want to serve in Vietnam (which was not the question) and burn up time talking about Vietnam instead of the subject of “enlisting for military service”.
To continue the filibuster he would then go to telling us about his young son “wanting to join the Marines”, blah, blah,.. which again, isn’t related to the question at all, and then the caller is gone.

Now that son who was used countless time as a diversion for questions about Medved’s military service is now grown, did he ever join the Marines, of course not, but the word game was sure milked for years by Medved.

There's at least a half dozen RINOs that would side with the dems.

Good let them come forth and be identified. If we are to be bound, we should at least know who our wardens are.

" but impeachment is the only tool left, use it or lose it. "

While I support impeaching this traitorous scum, I don't believe it's the only tool left nor do I believe it would be the most EFFECTIVE tool in this political climate.

The Power of the Purse would exercise far greater influence over policy and the House holds this power exclusively.

All they have to do is a full continuing resolution...minus a few strategically important things for Obama and the Dims. And ANNOUNCE the reasons they are eliminating that specific item is to bring POTUS back into compliance with the law.

Then go on recess.

Ensure the resolution expires every 60 or 90 days...and keep cutting programs until he gets the message.

That is not the point, he is guilty of High Crime and Misdemeanors, the House is obligated to bring the charges, it is the right and moral thing to do. The Grand Jury has no control over the Jury that is seated for the trial on charges they bring.

I agree with you. Misdemeanors and High Crimes. Obama has them in spades.

He needs to be impeached and convicted and dropped into the pit of hell.

You'll never convince Harry Reid to throw out Boehner's golf partner out of office.

I agree with you. Misdemeanors and High Crimes. Obama has them in spades.

But they only want to impeach Obama for granting amnesty for illegals, something both parties have been pushing for 10 years now.

That's the entire problem. BO would welcome impeachment to gin up his base.

The bigger problem is all the jag-offs who put him in office.

They fear getting blamed for shutting down the government even more than they do impeachment.

I don't know how they can cut anything since there hasn't been a budget since Obarko took office, he always seems to have plenty of cash to hand out to our enemies in the Middle East, and the Fed keeps printing.

What you’ve spelled out hits my fear on this issue. Even with an air tight house and senate the media would say it is blatant racism.

What you say is true. The solution is also clear...........let's 'overthrow' the MSM!

Consumer Media Nullification..................

Doesn't matter what Harry will or won't do, the crimes have been committed and the House knows it, they are obligated to bring the charges to trial, Harry can then do what he feels is necessary, just like the O.J. Jury.

“MM is correct that impeachment doesn't make good political strategy and I agree with him on that.”

I do too to some extent. But my soul responds to the lawful rebellion in the form of impeachment.

I could imagine Palin saying something like “Now there are some that say impeachment isn't the politically expedient thing to do. Well it may not be. And I may not be the best “politician”. But it seems we've got enough politicians already. What we need is some people that know the difference between right and wrong, and what is best for this great country of ours. And not how it will serve their own pet projects or their campaigns.”

I know - I'm a bit naive and idealistic at times.

And the GOP continues to vote for extensions to unemployment benefits and continuing to fund Obamacare, while at the same time wailing and moaning that, "we can't afford all this out of control spending!"

Of course it matters what Harry does or doesn’t do, the Senate is the jury in impeachment proceedings.
