Americans really wish they had elected Mitt Romney instead of Obama

Americans are so down on President Obama at the moment that, if they could do the 2012 election all over again, they'd overwhelmingly back the former Massachusetts governor's bid. That's just one finding in a brutal CNN poll, released Sunday, which shows Romney topping Obama in a re-election rematch by a whopping nine-point margin, 53 percent to 44 percent. That's an even larger spread than CNN found in November, when a survey had Romney winning a redo 49 percent to 45 percent.

Yes, I know who they were. However we have survived in spite of all that. Now at critical mass we have some decisions that will be an answer as to how fast we disappear as a country. Most of those who fought in the American Revolution were not fighting for anything but FREEDOM.

I am unimpressed with the American people and their choice of “leaders” and expect to remain so for the rest of my life.

FR convinced a lot of conservatives to stay home.

Everybody Loves Barry.

Who else could have brought us a tanked economy, sky-rocketing energy prices, high unemployment, fantastic EBT and welfare benefits for the lazy who deserve to be fed and housed, an open border where foreign kids can enter at will (but only to be the kids that American kids don't want to be), foreign affairs that will surely present future chaos in this country, and disunity amongst all citizens regardless of gender, race, sex preference, or party affiliation? Barry has accomplished all of this! Those who voted for Barry surely must be proud?????? Everybody loves Barry.....

What an idiot.

Coming out against the republican pro-life platform and for abortion and running pro-choice ads in Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin, and reminding us that he supported gay Scout leaders, were among his in your face attacks against voters after he won the nomination is what cost Romney republican votes.

Romney, a devout Christian and the closest to a conservative Constitionalist

I've seen ignorant posters before, but you take the cake, Romney was the most radically leftwing nominee in republican history, and of almost all nominees of both parties, and he is not a Christian and never has been.

Mitt Romney practices Mormonism not Christianity, and his family migrated to the United States to serve Joseph Smith and his unique religion.

As a 1930s farm boy, you should at least know a little about the man.

As once a farm boy during the thirties, forties and the rough fifties, I learned the value of lesser of two evils was a format to survive.

The problem with voting for “the lesser of two evils” is both sides know you’ll accept evil.

Enduring this criminal one more day than necessary is dishonorable. Save yourself the trouble if your going to try to tell me Romney is no better; we both know he is.

Don’t put words in my mouth. Both of these individuals are execrable. I haven’t spent a large amount of time at FR ringing the warning bell about Willard since 2006 (when he made it clear where he was going) just for kicks and giggles. The danger he posed (and still does) is enormous. That he was raised by his left-wing parents to inflict this damage on purpose had to be made known, and that he could never be trusted by Conservatives, period.

I’ll tell you the difference between the two of them to put it as simply for you as possible: Zero doesn’t insult our intelligence by pretending to be a Conservative Republican. Willard does. Think about it.

You’re standing in quicksand, sir. If you can discount or refute anything I’ve said, feel free. I’ve spent 8 years debunking the Myth of Willard. You’ve spent a post lying to yourself and others, naively assuming I’ll drink the Kool-Aid happily along with you. Sorry, that’s not happening.

Looks like you’ve spent so long in New England you can’t recognize Reds badly wearing elephant costumes. Alas, you can’t seen to see the forest for the redwoods.

Well, it looks like you broke your pledge in an attempt to have the final word, par for the course with RINO apologists around here.

I mean, really, what is it with you senile cretins who are obsessed with focusing on the rectal area when you lose an argument ? How about an intelligent response for a change instead of acting like a poo-flinging toddler having a tantrum ? Heaven forbid admitting you’re in the wrong.

Ok, have an adult read this to you. I began by expressing my disdain for RINOs. Apparently you missed or chose to ignore that. I claimed that, on balance Romney was preferable to Obama. It takes a complete lack of reason or a brain injury to disagree with that point.

I’m not the least concerned that your lack of reasoning ability, an inveterate hatred of Mormons or lingering guilt for your stay-home-and-don’t-vote position puts you in this stupid, unthinking position.

"Ok, have an adult read this to you."

And more insults from the sore loser/scatological fetishist...

"I began by expressing my disdain for RINOs."

Pointless, since your cheerleading for Willard makes those expressions of disdain ring hollow.

"Apparently you missed or chose to ignore that. I claimed that, on balance Romney was preferable to Obama."

To which I responded that Zero doesn't insult our intelligence by pretending to be a Conservative Republican in the way Willard does. This was where you lost your, ahem, bowels, and couldn't quite escape from that area of the body in your responses since.

"It takes a complete lack of reason or a brain injury to disagree with that point."

Yet, again, rather than attempt to prove your position, which I stridently disagreed with, you resorted to a toddler-style tantrum, as if that somehow a reasonable and reasoned argument.

"I’m not the least concerned that your lack of reasoning ability"

Pot, kettle, black.

"an inveterate hatred of Mormons"

Wow. Now you've gone from toddler insults to outright fabrications/distortions/slander. I have not, in 8 years of exposing the Myth of Willard, ever attacked his choice of religion. I did not do so in this thread, nor in the thousands of posts I've made on the subject. You're a damnable liar, sir, and I expect an apology for this despicable accusation.

"or lingering guilt for your stay-home-and-don’t-vote position puts you in this stupid, unthinking position."

I voted in that election, sir. More of your mindless and insulting speculations aside. I voted for the only Conservative listed on the ballot for President, former Virginia Congressman Virgil Goode. I do not vote for false choices, frauds, liars or "lessers of two evils." My conscience is clear. As for yours, I shall not speculate. As for your character, your responses in this thread answer all one will ever need to know about that, sir.

> But you wouldn’t want Romney any more than obummer?

IIRC, Romney was pro-gay-marriage even before obummer was.

He flip-flopped on abortion so many times, I don’t really know where he stands on it today.

Romney is a big-government fabian socialist.
0bummer is a big-government marxist moslem sympathizer.

Not more than a dime’s worth of difference between them, with the possible exception of economic policy.
