I was there and stood on the fence in front of the State House. The crowd was enormous, spilling into the Boston Common. I think the 10,000 estimate is close to accurate. In any case, it was much, much larger than the Free Justina Pelletier rally of two months ago, and that crowd numbered in the thousands.
Hey thanks for the report. So it is just the media spin we are dealing with (as usual). I wish I could have been there. I live in RI but work (and pay income tax) in MA. I think the marathon terror attack may have begun to turn the tide in New England.
However, while leaving Fenway last weekend, I let a car pull out into the after-game traffic crush. As it eased in front of me, I saw it was covered with Ready for Warren stickers and I was stuck looking at those stickers for about 30 minutes as traffic crept along Comm Ave.
I just don't have a lot of faith that there are enough level-headed and honestly informed voters in MA to fight the well-oiled machine.
