As you also know, an impeachment is really two separate things, the easier creation of articles and vote in the House, and then the much harder trial in the Senate.
The House vote is political. Has any impeachment been even suggested by a House led by the same party the president belongs to?
Note also, while there have been two presidents impeached (Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton) and one gone after (Richard Nixon), none of them were ever convicted.
Actually the Nixon impeachment was brought by a Repub. If we stay on message and show a direct line from Louis Lerner and the WH the American people and the media are going to have a hard time saying that is fine.
The cover-up and destruction of evidence will be hard to laugh off as will a connection between bringing in children from Central America and excessive EOs. This is not Clinton and may just surprise people.
My guess is the impeachment mailers are coming back empty as is his fundraising. He is getting less popular by the day.
