Obama has been playing footsie with Iran all along. He made a lot of promises before getting elected in 2008. Obama Envisions New Iran Approach -November 2, 2007 By MICHAEL R. GORDON and JEFF ZELENY http://www.nytimes.com/2007/11/02/us/politics/02obama.html?pagewanted=all

This was always concerning to me because I know that Iran funded Chavez' campaign with millions in the 90's. Venezuela became the biggest narco distributor in the world. The rest of Latin America fell into becoming narco nations as well. Hezbollah is all over the region.

State Department Reports Hezbollah Increasing Drug and Terrorism in South America 2013 http://interamericansecuritywatch.com/exporting-terror-in-americas-backyard/

"There has indeed been a “marked resurgence” of Iranian state sponsorship of terrorism over the past 18 months. But as the new Nisman report drives hom, here’s an even more disturbing fact — Iran has run intelligence networks in the United States’ backyard to “sponsor, foster and execute terrorist attacks” for decades."

"Criminal plans" by Iran could be under way in Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago, the report said. http://www.cnn.com/2013/06/03/world/americas/iran-latin-america/

The US has become a Narco Nation, we have a national heroin epidemic, God only knows what kind of terrorist risks we are really facing other than our own treasonous President, so what does Iran want now?

This and the points you outlined elsewhere in your reply make compelling arguments in favor of legalizing drugs.

I should add that many Americans of Iranian heritage have outed the NIAC as a mouthpiece for the Iranian regime.

"Regime change

NIAC does not represent all Iranian Americans April 22, 2005 iranian.com

Much like you, I was excited to see an organization established several years ago to voice the concerns of Iranian Americans. I assumed some wealthy immigrants from our community decided to chip in and help establish a force to support our interests. After all so many other minorities have similar national organizations ... it seemed a good move now that our numbers have grown in the United States. We truly have been victims of discrimination, and do need to have greater participation in public forums. But recently, I have begun to suspect the motives of the National Iranian American Council (NIAC). My suspicions were finally tipped when I received an email this past week, informing me that 80% of the Iranian-Americans they had communicated with, wanted NO CHANGE IN THE REGIME IN IRAN. This was in response to the US house's recent bill making regime change in Iran, the official policy of the United States."

The military consequences of not reaching a comprehensive nuclear deal with Iran have been clearly defined by the White House: “You close the door on diplomacy, and you’re left only with a choice between a possible military option or Iran steadily advancing its nuclear program.”

The word "comprehensive" is always a red flag. Even before I read it, I knew the Iran negotiations would be full of disastrous concessions in return for trivial feel good promises from Iran. With that word, we know that Obama's people know how hollow the negotiations are too. Their purpose isn't even to split the difference and reduce the Iranian nuclear threat. The purpose is merely to perpetuate the threat but create a positive story that plays well among the antisemitic liberal base. The West is in grave danger.

John Kerry said on last week’s Fox News Sunday With Chris Wallace, that “...a BAD deal is better than no deal at all” regarding the 4 month extension of the nuclear talks with Iran.

WTF?
