This officer didn’t study history too well. I would liken it more to Hitler entering Austria, where he already had a large population of sympathizers.
There are some of both in eastern Ukraine but the majority want nothing to do with Putin and his war. Ukraine is the original Russia ...Slavs are Slavs. Nationalism and language play a role in conflicts there but who butters their bread is the biggest factor. Then you have the psycho’s with AK’s and vodka.
