I’m not sure why they have a delegate from D.C. in Congress. D.C. does not have representatives in Congress because it is not a state. But, in her position, she gets to make speeches and make her political statements on the floor of Congress, as any other congressman can do.

When one branch of government spies on another, and has the capacity to blackmail another, there are no check’s and balances, and at that point ‘separation-of-powers’ doesn’t exist. If there is no transparency, there is no accountability, and the one ‘separation’ of powers that can never exist in a legitimate government is one in which the citizens themselves are separated from the knowledge of what their government is doing to them.
So, did anyone present ask that most superfluous of members, Ms Norton, the ‘non-voting’ member, whether she would say the same thing if a white person occupied the position of president?

There is only a “right to know” if a Republican holds the office. Than we need to know everything, including classified details of how we are prosecuting a war.
