Hook up a high volume blower to this tunnel entrance and pump CS gas through it for 24 hours. Then watch the “rats” scurry out of the buildings on the other end(s) of the tunnel.

True, but the CS is much easier to distribute AND it reveals the entire network... at least until they start installing airtight bulkheads.

Actually, C4 explodes too fast, about 26,000fps. For tunnels, you need a slower "PUSH" rather than a sharp blast.

ANFO or Composition B work better for tunnels. Fuel/Air works well, too.
