Rouse’s is a Louisiana-based grocery chain that has a meat department bigger than a lot of other grocery stores. It is a meat lover’s wet dream and a vegetarian’s nightmare, lol.
They are new to my area. I am looking forward to checking it out.
If they stock the same merchandise in your neck of the woods as they do here, look for the, “steak cut bacon.” It’s extreeeeemely thick and takes a long time to fry, but in the end, you have what can best be described as bacon cookie, lol.
