The tipping point was passed with the enactment of the 17th Amendment. If the Republicans take control that is what wwe will get. CONTROL. The Republicans will retain ALL the structures put into place bu Democrats and Republicans since FDR. They will not even run the bureaus more astutely and efficiently. They will simply be the New Faction. There are no checks on the Government Party. When Republicans get control of the government they always retain ALL the bureaucrats except for a few of the top Directors and Secretaries who will be ignored by the Permanent Government and actively and effectively opposed for anything they do that smacks of reform or Constitutionalism.
