Days after telling La Raza convention attendees that he is confident President Obama will use executive action to give legal status to millions of immigrants in the United States illegally, Representative Luis Gutiérrez (D., Ill.) predicted that the administration could legalize as many as 5 million people.

This guy, Gutiérrez, is Hispanic first and American second or third. There is no way he should be in Congress making laws for this country, since this country is less important to him than “his people.”

What do you mean "we" Latino Man?
You're not in Puerto Rico, you know.

I am embarrassed by the almost unanimous pro illegal aliens posture of elected U.S. national representatives who presumably have their first allegiance to the America's Constitution and its laws; all of them, including immigration laws!

What sort of imbeciles elected you???

Politicians govern against the will of the people because big donors, such as big agriculture, the Chamber of Commerce, and other businesses, make large contributions. Yet despite doing the exact opposite of what their rank and file constituents want, the incumbents keep getting sent back to DC: case in point, McConnell. [At least he won his primary; the general remains to be seen.]

The day more incumbents start losing primaries is the day the rest of the incumbents shape up. Unless and until voters take charge & start cleaning house, we’re doomed to get more bad governance.

These people are just begging for a revolution. Let it be a peaceful one, if at all possible.

It is long past time to charge Luis with treason and deport him.

“i’wish politicians wanted to actually do the will of the citizens they represent instead of la raza and illegal aliens who flaunt breaking our immigration laws.”

Government today is for sale to the highest bidder.

That is so true. It is the exact problem. It won’t get fixed until voters start throwing the incumbents out in large numbers. Not successfully primarying McConnell was a huge loss for us. He really, really needs to go. But any incumbent of either party that is booted out is a step in the right direction. If enough of the Elite DC Ruling Class lose their sinecures, the rest will fall in line—i.e.: they’ll start listening to the voters as if their political lives depend on it.
