Someone really needs to comes up with some sort of invention, that triggers an alarm if the baby is still in his/her car seat
Google “baby car alarm” and there are scores/hundreds, but that won’t eliminate the sad fact that it happens.

The loss of this baby makes my heart hurt. My children were always in the front seat of a car so they could always be attended to if need be. Then the government and busybodies who think they have a right to tell everyone else how to live their lives had to get involved. So we now have airbags in the front passenger’s seat and those horrible car seats.
IMO we really do not need any more inventions to compensate for irresponsibility.
I now a lady who realizes she’s an air head. She’s worried she may forget her kid one day, so she threads the car seat belt through her purse strap in the back seat so she’ll never forget. I know another lady who always drives barefoot. She leaves her shoes in the back seat next to the baby. I doubt either one would ever forget their kids, but these stories scare them bad enough, they’ve taken proactive steps just to be sure.
