It is an odd and very disturbing story. A hospital contractor in Northeast D.C. was attacked by rats on the job and she says they are the same rats that are eating bodies in the morgue.

"Why didn’t she try to get rid of the rats?"

It would be a meet and confer and the SEIU would stall for decades.

Hellish is an excellent descriptor.

I’d have that cleaned up in a few weeks at most ,, poison baits , blocking all entrances permanently with rebar and concrete ... it’s not really that hard.

Having the morgue near the trash/dumpsters isn’t unusual ,, in my experience the morgue is always out by the loading dock area for the convenience of the funeral homes... the nutritional services department is a bigtime user of the loading docks and there is always food for rats at the dumpsters.. I’d place poison baits not just in the immediate area but out as much as a block away if possible.

Thanks. I am forced to use words I can spell, oftentimes my spelling is off so much that spellcheck can’t figure out what I mean. Hellish to be me sometimes.

Only in a democrat run city, can you have a 40 year rat problem where they are eating the corpses in the morgue...

Seriously, how hard would it be to correct this problem...?

I almost used the phrase “peach in our time.” I succeeded in talking about World Peach.

I'm reminded of a Conan movie where Grace Jones plays a fierce warrior woman, afraid of no man. However, she goes to pieces in the presence of a rodent. I think I see the problem here.

They don’t even have enough people to be a state... they are more like a county without a state...

Good point. And fun for the whole family since an air rifle is a lot safer for the little ones.

Although it might take a couple of shots because some rats can be BIG!.
