Quaker Oats was paid to put nuclear contamination in the homes of families who had Downs Syndrome children in the 50's and 60's. The government would offer free medical care to the family, and during their visit to the doctor the government spooks would swap out the food products with contaminated ones. The child would have to follow a strict diet of the contaminated foods as part of their nutritional regimine. Then the doctors visits were really to watch the long term effects of consuming nuclear fallout.

Now, anyone here trust the Obamas'?

re: Id bet this will perpetuate further fracturing of Obies support from the Greenies...

I seriously doubt that. I think they will find ways to justify Michelle’s support. Somehow what she is supporting will be “different”.

If there is one constant on the Left, it is that the Left supports the Left, no matter what. The Left can rail against crony capitalism, but they will support it when it is on the Left. The Left can rail against racism, but they support it when it is against Jews in Israel. The Left rails against “the rich”, but it is ok if a Leftist is rich. The Left is against private gun ownership, but the elites have their own armed bodyguards. The Left was against the fight against terrorism. They insisted that being in Iran & Afghanistan, etc were morally wrong. But when Obama got in and remained there, that was no big deal. The examples go on and on.

I agree. Add in there the ‘youth’ ie. college kids, who are very anti GMO’s.

Yep, stepped in it and I can’t wait to hear the idiocy spewed from mochelle to spin this one.

Look up her gig at Treehouse Foods, based in Chicago. She was on the board of dirctors. They have acquired all private label manufacturers of Jams, Jellies, Salad Dresings, cereals, instant drink mixes, and instant milk, coffee drinks, pickles, and much more.

“Mooch will now be “over” as far as they are concerned.”

Nah, you forget that libs are followers. If the lib elites start partnering with Monsanto, then all the ran & file libs will forget all about the fact that they were opposed to GMOs.

There’s a small group who will never forgive Mooch for the travesty.

The Church of Tree Hugging Greens hold their hatred of Genetically Modified Food as one of their major tenets of their Faith.

it wont be a large swath of reaction but it will be Very Deep!

According to the committee in the preface of the report, the purpose of this study was to understand what has been done in the past as a tool to avoid making the same mistakes in the future. The conclusions are that the federal government has established a pattern of using “human test subjects” without their knowledge or consent for radiation research. Other government publications, as well as privately published works, have also documented federal government use of unwitting human subjects in cancer and immunological research.

We know that the government has been using human test subjects for chemical and biological weapons research because Congress passed a bill which became Title 50, Chapter 32, Section 1520 of the U.S. Code which authorizes the Department of Defense, and its contractors to use “human test subjects” in the testing of chemical and biological weapons without their consent. When the provisions of the above law were widely publicized to an enraged public in 1996, it was amended in 1997 to prohibit the use of tax dollars for such experimentation.

The committee believes that if scientific experimentation is to continue to use human test subjects, then the humans being tested must give be thoroughly informed as to the the experiments that are to be performed upon them and that they give their full consent in advance of the experiments. All people would agree that informed consent should be a standard protocol in the use of humans for research purposes.

Unfortunately, there is no evidence to suggest that the federal government is going to stop experimenting upon the unsuspecting American public. In fact, the evidence is to the contrary.

Rather than take to heart the conclusions made by the committee in its report to the president, the federal government has made laws which make it legal for the Department of Defense and its contractors to continue experimenting upon Americans without their knowledge or consent in interest of chemical and biogical weapons testing and research.

“In the end, if trust in government is to be restored, those in power must act in good faith in their dealings with the citizenry,” wrote the committee.

The committee continued by warning Americans that we, “...must recognize that unless we have expectations of honesty and fairness from our government and unless we are vigilent in holding the government to those expectations, trust will never be restored.”

The Obama family does nothing for free. If nothing else, this is proof the health of America's children is the last thing on Mooch's mind. Long term effects of this stuff is unknown, but by then the Obamas will be long gone from the WH (hopefully). America's children eating this stuff (banned in may places) are guinea pigs for greed. Does anyone remember when Taco Bell pulled taco shells made with GMO corn?

I don’t know a single Lib/Tree Hugger/Enviro Whacko who isn’t rabid on the topic of GMO and Monsanto is considered one of the GMO Food Satans. The Mooch just stepped in it big time.

You said it. I was also going to use Satan as the Greenie-lib avatar for Monsanto. It's not even that far from the truth. There's not a lot of love for Monsanto among conservatives either.
