EDISTO, S.C. Lowcountry businessman and independent U.S. Senate candidate Thomas Ravenel issued the following statement today regarding polling data released by The (Charleston, S.C.) Post and Courier and several television stations.
Like John Paul Jones said, I have not yet begun to fight, Ravenel said.
Im at ten percent and havent spent a dime getting my message out. By contrast Lindsey Graham has spent $5 million getting his message out in the last few months and his approval rating is only 39 percent. Meanwhile 44 percent disapprove of his performance a number thats only going to climb as people start realizing that hes serving Washingtons interests, not their interests. No one has ever seriously challenged him hes never had to defend his votes for unnecessary wars, unnecessary government, anti-competitive tax hikes or liberal Supreme Court justices. Im not only going to hold him accountable for those votes Im going to offer people a competing vision for the direction of this country. They dont have to choose between the warfare state or the welfare state anymore. My campaign is going to give them a real choice.
Ravenel reiterated he is willing to spend whatever it takes to highlight the contrast between Grahams left-leaning record and his own conservative policies.

Ravenel is a train wreck but he’s an entertaining train wreck. What a goof.
Entertainment would be better then revulsion.
Which is what I feel when I see Graham.
I live in the district that elected former governor Mark Sanford to congress so any thing goes. I am voting for Ravenel as are my Republican acquaintances.

Good to hear!! If we can’t remove the traitorous among us in primaries, then we can remove them in November.
Here in MA, I blanked my ballot when Scott Brown was running in 2012. Thousands like me did the same and he’s now out on his ear, and desperately trying to get back into “the club” from another state.
She’s very pretty.
I agree. I’m willing to lose some senate seats to dems (KY/SC/MS) if it means cleaning out the dead wood obstructionist RINOs.
Works for me. I’d rather vote for Ravenel than the Democrat, and I’m sure not voting for Graham.
I think I’ll send a little donation to Brown. I know some liberals who live in NH just to avoid income taxes and then they donate to Shaheen...
Haven't heard nada from Markie
anything new?
Good for Ravenel. I hope he makes Lindsey miserable.
At the very least maybe he can help bleed the GOP-E coffers a bit.
They are engaged. She kept a low profile during the election until she attended his victory party.
I remember that part. I read his wife’s biography—I think he must be a sex addict like BJ. Probably his hot hooker from Argentina won’t be enough for Governor Viagra.
That’s a good enough reason for my vote.
I am voting for Ravenel as are my Republican acquaintances.
