Krauthammer is very insightful in nearly all his work. However, I think he’s missing the mark on this piece. Its not so much how Obama views the forces of history; its more a case of how much he detests the history of United States. If you accept that premise, everything he does is understandable and predictable.
In short, if its bad for America, then Obama is for it. That’s really all you need to know.

I have been saying something similar since his election. When he started spending money like crazy and people were asking what in the world he was doing. Well, what he was doing was making matters worse, 'cause we deserved it to be worse. Then the question is why, why would he make things worse, deliberately.
Well, we have never had a President before who truly hated this country. I don't think anyone ever thought that someone who hated the country would be elected; but, that is what we did -- twice. So, I thought to myself, what if he truly hates the country, and doesn't really like the American people much either. Would his actions then make sense. Well, yes, yes they would.
So, if you accept the premise that he actually hates this country, then everything he does makes sense.
