If you are genuinely worried for your tomatoes, a cold frame will help. Clear plastic over a wood framework placed over the plant will keep the heat in. I do this every fall.

yes i have a pvc house built over the plants that are over 6 ft high. I’m going to cover at some point next month. They are turning red now.

i plan on doing that i’ll send pictures the plants are over 6 ft high with tomatoes at the very tops. bumper crop. could be the last days.

i plan om doing that. i have plastic pipe frame over them now with 1 inch nylon netting to keep birds and squirrels out.
