In all honesty, I am glad he shot them.
But they were out of the house and no longer posing a threat. He is going to jail...or at least to trial.
All people are created equal, but they don’t end up that way.
I say, if you are going to send this guy away, make it somewhere really nice with plenty of leisure activity and health care. Maybe Guantanamo.
I think his lawyer can make hay with the fact that they had robbed him twice before, and there was the threat of them returning a 4th time to rob/attack him.
