"I'm glad to see that you believe that we have a direct moral equivalency to those barbarians who murdered those 298 innocents on Flight MH17." You don't have a clue what I believe and it is totally out of line to manufacture false statements to bolster your hate speech. What twisted standards you apply. It is murder if the other side does exactly what we describe as an accident when doing it ourselves.

"....the crew of the Vincennes attempted to communicate with the Iranian flight after they had improperly identified it as a potential hostile." Just as the Russians, Ukrainians, rebels or whomever did.

"Once the tragedy was upon them, everyone involved freely admitted the disastrous chain of events and accepted responsibility." Total B.S! As of five years later, the United States had not even apologized to Iran. Eventually a weasel worded, half apology, was issued stating that we ".... recognized the aerial incident of 3 July 1988 as a terrible human tragedy and expressed deep regret over the Loss of lives caused by the incident".

"Mass murder is a Russian pastime and nothing to be apologized for as far as they are concerned.” So, it is mass murder when they do the same thing as we have done but described as an accident?

"About as patriotic as Bill Ayers or Ward Churchill, aren't you." The last refuge of a despicable scoundrel running out of substance in debate is to resort to an Ad hominem attack.

For your information and the record, I proudly served our country in combat in Vietnam. I will post my DD214 after you post yours.

Footage has revealed the dodgy efforts to maintain the crash scene by local rebels before international examiners arrived.

Vice News has released a news report outlining the complexities in maintaining the integrity of the crash site, especially when pro-Russian rebels say one thing, but do another.

“The Russian leadership of the Donetsk People’s Republic has said that they’re not touching the crash site because the international community has asked them to leave it intact for an investigation,” reports Vice News correspondent Simon Ostrovsky.

“But we’ve seen the opposite, we’ve seen people carrying materials away from the site, driving it away.

“We don’t know where it is going and it’s already been contaminated by a number of people who have been walking over it and removing things from it.”

It’s a bit hard to argue with these pictures ...

You served in Vietnam in the military of a NATO nation and now you serve the enemy.

I knew an old WWII vet, he was the only true, unapologetic Stalinist that I ever met, he reveled in Stalin’s barbarity.

""....the crew of the Vincennes attempted to communicate with the Iranian flight after they had improperly identified it as a potential hostile." Just as the Russians, Ukrainians, rebels or whomever did."

Really? What evidence do you have that anyone tried to call MH17 before they opened fire? The crew of the Vincennes tried 7 times on multiple frequencies. The investigations afterward noted that the Iranian flight probably did not recognize that they were being called because the Vincennes used the wrong airspeed to identify them.

The US instantly admitted that its was our missile that destroyed that passenger plane. There was a lot of confusion at first about the actual situation about F-14s and such but it was clear from the beginning that we shot it down. Big difference from the Russians and their sycophants who haven't admitted anything. They never thought that they were in any danger at all, they just thought that they could shoot a nice unwarned and defenseless Ukrainian airplane out of the sky and nobody'd be the wiser.

Interesting that you haven't mentioned KAL007.

Your comparison of the Iranian tragedy and the Malaysian flight atrocity is telling: despite your service in Vietnam, you have implied equivalency between this awful mass murder and how it occurred and what we did during an on-going fight with Iranian armed forces. I don't support what Capt. Rodgers did and I do feel that we didn't do everything we should have to seek justice but that incident was not deliberate.

As far as your Vietnam service goes, good for you. It's the part where you attack our own country I take issue with. John Kerry is a Vietnam veteran too.
