Hardly a surprise: During a recent meeting with the nation’s governors, President Obama made clear his top priority, which is to make sure that the governors don’t go talking out of turn or criticizing his policies in any way. Texas Gov. Rick Perry saw no reason to keep this a secret, and as you can see here, he didn’t:

He’ll make a fine President.

First, let's see the end of the matter with his handling of his State's part of the border crisis.

He's a HUGE liberal.

That's just patently false. It's irresponsible rhetoric like this that put Obama in the WH, tearing down conservative candidates with stupid vapid accusations. I know you have some instance or issue that you use to support your side but the man is passionately pro 2nd and 10th Amendments, pro business and free enterprise, and the Constitution as a whole.

If Rick Perry is a liberal, turn out the lights, we're done.

If he weren’t pro-amnesty, he would be a possible presidential candidate to support.

If you are not bothered by this, then you are not awake yet.
You must listen to the whole cut. Obama’s threat to the governors is near the end.

Perry?
You're outta your mind — he's in on it WRT the illegal immigration invasion, plus he's a ball-less POS who's afraid to exercise the authority he has because that would rock the boat and unsettle his DC masters.

Want proof?
TX Constitution:

Art 4, Sec. 7. COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF OF MILITARY FORCES; CALLING FORTH MILITIA.
He shall be Commander-in-Chief of the military forces of the State, except when they are called into actual service of the United States. He shall have power to call forth the militia to execute the laws of the State, to suppress insurrections, and to repel invasions.

To the Agie haters....

It was a while back, but a Congressman from Texas was on the long journey home from Washington. He stopped to visit his congressional colleague from Tennessee. The Tennessean gave him a tour of Knoxville. They went down near the river to see the creation. The Tennessean proudly exclaimed “ This is our great University, The University of Tennessee”. He went on to extol the great professors and opportunities for the bright students flocking to the campus.

He called the chancellor who graciously greeted the congressman from Texas with a Tennessee orange T shirt emblazoned UT.
While traveling, the Texan thought on his visit and concluded that we need a university like that in Texas.

Alas, disaster struck. While philandering in a gambling hall under the hill in Natchez, the Congressman from the great but fledgling State of Texas was murdered. He went immediately to hell. The fires burned heatedly and though not consumed, his hair, eyebrows and clothing were scorched. On presentation to the devil, the evil one saw the UT shirt and decided this must be a Holy Man and cast the Texan out. He found himself dazed but alive once more on the road back to Texas.

As soon as he got home, he called a committee to meet and they created a University, The University of Texas. To his day many Texans proudly wear T shirts of Burnt Orange bearing the logo UT.

Once again, like the Alamo and San Jacinto, Texans became indebted to Tennessee for greatness.

First you have to define amnesty.

Federal Law already says you have to take care of them and educate them through High School.

Like it or not, there's a common sense to amnesty. Even Reagan knew that.

Typical Obama. He sees state governors as vassals of the federal government

The sad thing is that this is common among the governors (or at least their offices) — last year I mailed virtually all the governors detailing how they could act, under the power of their own State Constitution, to end illegal immigration (the invasion) and the most common response was it's a federal matter despite that I took it from their own damn Constitutions.

Yes he will make a fine President. I heard about this a while back with Obama threatening the governors at their own meeting. Its outrageous. I also personally believe he threantend Jan Brewer out on the Tarmac of that AZ airport. She was visibly shook up in the interviews afterward. She is still hiding under her desk.

Perry is the only governor who has had the stones to stand up to this POS.

No, it you don't have to make up a definition of Amnesty to fit your political candidate. The definition of Amnesty is, and always has been not punishing those that have committed some type of crime.

Hence, Comprehensive Immigration Reform is Amnesty. Incorrect and Immoral Federal Laws not withstanding, it is still the wrong thing to do.

And before you try to argue the point, remember the Dred Scott decision by SCOTUS? How about the Abortion ruling that made Abortion legal?

Just because something is a law, does not make it correct, and especially, it does not make it moral.

From Merriam-Webster.com:

am·nes·ty noun \ˈam-nə-stē\

: a decision that a group of people will not be punished or that a group of prisoners will be allowed to go free

With regards to Reagan, even he admitted to and knew that his Amnesty was his biggest political mistake he had made in his life and admitted so to his son Michael after the fact.

This one post by you Sacajaweau, says so much, not only about you and your conservatism, but about the candidate you keep trying to push, Rick Perry.
