I don’t know how upset to be about this. Erdogan is more pro-Islamist than Obama.

had cut off direct communications with President Obama, and in fact, were no longer even answering calls received from the White House

Can't say I blame him.

There was a time when Turkey was one of the most reliable allies that the U.S. had. Obama has really screwed this one up. Now we have Kerry over in the mideast trying to pull Hamas’s Chestnuts out of the fire. Just who benefits from an Isreal/Hamas ceasefire?

I would be happy to see us cut off all Turkish products. I have boycotted the thousands of shirts and pants at Target and Walmart made in Turkey ever since the IslamoNazi pig Erdogan was elected.

Obama doesn’t care. He’s happy to see the US taken down a peg by having the USD no longer be the global reserve currency. He’s happy to see Turkey turn Islamist and for the US to lose allies.

Maybe the Sue Me Sunni is too radical for most Islamic leaders?

When did Turkey become an ally?

The alignment with Russia is falling into line with the alignment shown in Bible prophecy.

Turkey was quickly moving away from their reliance on the dollar as the global reserve currency,

That's the troubling part of this.

Turkey has begun to move away from its U.S. alliance and has started seeking increased trade agreements with America's primary adversary Russia.

When I was teaching in Turkey, I learned of something called the "suitcase trade." A Turk would load up a suitcase with some Turkish products, usually leather goods, which were well made and inexpensive in Turkey. He would fly to Russia, sell the goods, and load up the suitcase with Russian-made things, usually hand tools and other small manufactured items. He'd return to Turkey and sell the Russian stuff. Apparently the trade was lucrative enough to cover air fare and other expenses and leave a worthwhile profit. I never did inquire whether the goods were reported at Customs either way.

The flea markets were full of Russian stuff, not only hand tools but bootlegged CDs and copies of Windows.

The Islamists in Russia’s underbelly of former Soviet States will be happy with Erdongan’s “trojan horse” alliance of convenience with Putin.
