60 million gallons of water per day? Wow.

There are 1100 golf courses in California which require on average 300,000 gallons each. That’s 330,000,000 gallons of water per pay.

Get rid of the gold courses.

get rid of the golf courses

With fertilizers causing pollution runoff and the excessive use of water for those perfect courses, something should've been done. Why not find grasses that grow easily naturally and don't need more than the rain in an area?

Assuming the water crisis that seems to be emerging is real, that's an argument for not growing no nutrition tobacco and pot in areas that require water resources that impact supply. Same with the ski slope situation. A lot of water doesn't get off the mountains and into the water supply because of snowmaking. Ski slopes should be accountable for not drying up the water resources.

It's been said for years that the wars that tear the US apart will be water wars.
